MSHI 524 Public/Population Health Informatics

Public/Population Health Informatics is a graduate-level course designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the application of informatics to public and population health. The course will cover the principles and practices of public and population health informatics, including the use of data and technology to improve population health outcomes, the development and implementation of health information systems and tools, and the ethical and privacy considerations involved in the collection and use of population health data. Students will also learn about the impact of public and population health informatics on health disparities, health promotion and disease prevention, and health system sustainability.
