MSHI 504 Project Management and System Development Life Cycle

The MSHI 504 class is an integrated study of the symbiotic, interdependent relationship between project management (PM) and system development life cycle (SDLC). Use of these tools is critical to successful healthcare change initiatives. Project management is emphasized as a major tool/technique to initiate, plan, control, monitor, execute, and close important healthcare informatics projects. The System Development Life Cycle methodology provides the informatician with a trusted tool-chest for analyzing, designing, and implementing technological solutions to solve complex, healthcare operational problems.
