FinTech Graduate Certificate
Admission Requirements
Students must have earned an undergraduate degree from a regionally-accredited university to be eligible to earn a graduate certificate in the DCOBT. Current Grad-2-Grad students at JU are eligible to earn the FinTech Graduate Certificate. Students in master’s level degree programs (e.g., MSOL, MBA, MSABA) must enroll in the graduate certificate to earn the certificate; it will not be granted automatically. Master’s students with a FinTech concentration cannot earn both the concentration and the FinTech certificate. These students may elect to pursue another graduate certificate; however, a certificate will not be awarded by the university if no additional coursework is completed outside of what is required for their degree (e.g., MBA) and concentration.
Program Completion
The program is designed to be completed in less than 12 months. If a student cannot complete the program they must successfully complete all course work no later than five years after the completion of the first graduate-level course taken after entrance into the program.
All academic standards present in the DCOBT apply to graduate certificate programs. No course in which a grade below a “C” (2.0) is earned will be accepted as fulfilling a requirement of the graduate certificate. Students in master’s level degree programs (e.g., MSOL, MBA, MSABA) must maintain a 3.0 average in that degree program.
