NUR 523 Clinical Nurse Education
The course focuses on nursing education in clinical practice including the development of clinical reasoning and core competency skills. An emphasis on insuring a safe learning environment with an emphasis on teamwork for both the learner and patient will also be addressed. Clinical assessment and evaluation and their role in nursing education, including the use of technology in the clinical setting, will be explored.
Prerequisite
Admission to the graduate nursing program, successful progression in the program or permission of nursing faculty.
