Strategic Social Media Minor
The Department of Communication offers an eighteen (18) credit minor in strategic social media to help students from all disciplines* understand the strategic use of social media and the tools that can be used to fully engage in current and future social platforms**. The minor includes twelve (12) credits of required courses and six credits of approved elective courses for a total of eighteen (18) credits.
*COMM Majors may not minor in Strategic Social Media.
** Students earning a minor in Strategic Social Media may not also earn a certificate in Strategic Social Media.
*** COMM 395 may be repeated for a maximum of 3 credits with permission of the instructor.
