NUR 586 Advanced Nursing Informatics II
In the course, learners will identify stakeholder values and ethical issues in knowledge representation, including management of sensitive health information, and digital health information technology. Discuss the basic concepts of database administration and data warehouses. Learners will appraise the nursing value data model to build knowledge from nurse sensitive data to support practice and translational research for precision nursing and improving patient quality and safety. Conceptual and operational aspects of knowledge representation structures and standardized nomenclatures in nursing and health care will be utilized for shareable, comparable data and interoperability.
