NUR 585 Advanced Nursing Informatics I
In this course, learners will examine human computer interaction across the spectrum of healthcare settings and care continuum. Systems analysis, system life cycle, system requirements and design, and project management theory will be applied. Learners will evaluate the quality and credibility of consumer health information and strategies (such as mobile health) for improving health outcomes; mapping the social and behavioral determinants of health in health records to support population health strategies; and ethical application in uses of information and consumer and professional informatics.
