DPT 632 Pathology & Medical Screening for Physical Therapy
This course will provide foundational knowledge of pathology, pharmacology, and medical screening as they relate to physical therapist practice across the lifespan. The major body systems including musculoskeletal, nervous, cardiopulmonary, hematologic, integumentary, lymphatic, and endocrine systems will be covered. The gastrointestinal, hepatic, biliary, and urogenital systems will be addressed as they relate to entry-level physical therapy practice. This course includes lab activities.
