DPT 612 Biological & Physical Sciences for Physical Therapy

This course presents foundational knowledge for physical therapy practice related to anatomy, neuroanatomy, and neuroscience. The major body systems including musculoskeletal, nervous,
cardiopulmonary, hematologic, integumentary, lymphatic, and endocrine systems will be covered. The gastrointestinal, hepatic, biliary, and urogenital systems will be addressed as they relate to entry-level physical therapy practice. This course includes lab activities.
