Sports in Society B.S. Degree

The Sports in Society major leads to a BS degree which prepares the student for a position in a sports-related industry. With core requirements covering courses across three (3) colleges the student is exposed to the varied ways that sports operates in society. Students are allowed to choose from three (3) different areas of specialization with a spectrum of courses across all four (4) undergraduate colleges. The areas of specialization are Sports and Social Sciences, Sports and Education, and Sports and Communications Arts. This interdisciplinary approach caters to a student’s interests and prepares them enter the sports industry at a variety of positions.
