Admission Criteria

The following requirements may be in progress when applying to the University but need to be completed by the anticipated entry term.

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution

• Human Anatomy & Physiology I

• Human Anatomy & Physiology II

• General Chemistry with lab

• Microbiology w/ lab

• Human Nutrition

• Human Growth & Development

• Statistics

 

Admissions Requirements

• Complete online application

• $30 application fee

• Send Official transcripts from each regionally accredited school to the Office of Admission

• One page admission essay

• 3 letters of recommendation

• Supplemental Nursing Questions (available in status page once the application has been submitted)

• Video answer to interview questions

 

The School of Nursing will begin reviewing applications, the review process takes 3-4 weeks and well-qualified applicants will be invited to provide a video response to interview questions that will be reviewed by the School of Nursing faculty. After the interview there will be an essay on a critical thinking topic and applicants will be given approximately 20 minutes to write a one-page essay on the prompt provided. Existing MSN courses are in italics. All other courses are new courses.
