NUR 567 Advance Discharge Planning and Health Promotion

One semester hour credit. One hour per week theory. Hybrid course.

The focus of this course is on discharge planning in the acute care setting. The course will explore the role of the advanced practice nurse serving as a patient advocate and collaborating within systems to facilitate health promotion and the transition from acute care settings to community settings.
