EE 302 Signals and Systems
This course develops tools for analyzing signals and systems operating in continuous-time and discrete-time with applications to control, communications, and signal processing. Primary concepts are representation of signals, some useful signal models and operations, classification of signals and systems, linear time- invariant system analysis in continuous-time and discrete-time, Laplace transform, Fourier analysis of signals, frequency response, and frequency-domain input/output analysis. Practical examples are employed throughout, and regular usage of computer tools is incorporated. Prereq:
EE 222,
MATH 221, and co-req:
EE 311.
