IMPD 632 Alveolar Vascularized Osteotomies
This course introduces residents to an alveolar procedure which results in vital results without micro-vascular surgery. The comparison and benefit, when indicated, over Onlay Augmentation will be explained. The TVO™ (Tatum Vascularized Osteotomy) will be described and demonstrated for indicated sites in both arches. Dedicated instruments will be illustrated along with bone cuts, tissue manipulation, and different fixation techniques. Residents will critically evaluate the scientific literature as it relates to the subject.
