DANC 500 Graduate Seminar
The course provides an opportunity to realize theintersection of courses in relation tochoreographic practice. The intersection ofcourses creates various stimuli to which thecandidate responds through studio-based inquiry,and a range of reflective and critical skillsincluding writing and documentation strategies.Specifically, through guest lectures, in classdiscussions, workshop experiences and assignmentsthe student will build a practice of writing, toestablish knowledge(s) and relevancy of variousmodalities for creating dance. Emphasis will beplaced on advancing each student's individualperspective on what is surfacing in theirchoreographic practice.
