SOC 380 Juvenile Delinquency

An examination of the causes and consequences of preadult deviance and crime, the operations of the juvenile justice system, and the effectiveness of deliquency policies. The course includes: critical analysis of delinquency research; consideration of biological, psychological, and sociological explanations of delinquency; and comparisons of deliquency, juvenile law and justice in various historic
