This course is designed to introduce the participant to the reading-related skills andlearning strategies at the various cognitive levels as needed in the various content areas; thestudy of readability and text structures; thestudy and application of various teaching strategies, and the use of related matrerials. Thecourse includes an introdution to the design anduse of informal and formal assessment techniquespertinent to the middle and high school level.
