AVM 303RI Introduction to Unmanned Aircraft Syste

The study of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and fundamentals of UAS operations, from sensors, controls, and automation to regulations, safety procedures, and human factors. The course describes the proliferation of technological capability, miniaturization, and demand for aerial intelligence in a post 9/11world and presents the latest major commercial uses of UASs and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).Students will cover the applicable Part 107regulations, UAS flight operations, and prerational risk management. This course satisfies the experiential learning requirement.
