MSC 570 Coastal GIS
Three hours per week with a combination of lecture and laboratory. This course provides an in-depth overview of the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to the marine environment using ArcGIS Pro. This course is intended to introduce students to the concepts, principles, and the reality of using GIS. This powerful technology is a very effective tool for capture, analysis, and display of spatial data, especially in the coastal and marine environment.
