MGT 567 Leadership for Organizations
Understanding how to successfully interact with diverse individuals in a myriad of contexts is key to personal leadership effectiveness. This course focuses on the development of leadership behaviors and critical thinking skills in an organizational behavior framework. Fundamental leadership concepts and principles will be explored such that current research findings can be applied to enhance interpersonal performance as an executive leader. The focus of the course is on understanding and skill development in four competency areas: individual effectiveness, emotional intelligence, team development, and organizational performance. Leading ethically will be emphasized.
