EXSC 597 Thesis
The master's thesis provides an opportunity for students to conduct a research project. Students work closely with an Exercise Science faculty mentor and faculty committee. Thesis students
propose, complete data collection and analysis, write and prepare a manuscript for publication, and defend. *
* Students who complete a thesis are required to 1) have an Exercise Science faculty sponsor and 2) complete 6 credits of
EXSC 597. Thesis students typically enroll in 3 credits of thesis in each of their final two semesters. However, students may enroll in 1-6 credits (in a semester) under the advisement of their faculty sponsor.
