Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certificate

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certificate (DEI) provides Jacksonville University students with the opportunity to enhance any major through the successful completion of the DEI certificate.  Developed in support of Jacksonville University's commitment to DEI, the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certificate program provides students with an opportunity to increase insight and understanding beyond the required core curriculum.  The certificate draws upon critical theory in a variety of disciplines and focuses on viewpoints in DEI from both global and American perspectives.  The certificate includes nine (9) credit hours of coursework in approved DEI courses.  Successful completion of any one of the three (3) credit approved DEI courses applied towards the certificate will satisfy the DEI graduation requirement.
