HIST 300 History of Sports
This course examines the development and popularity of competitive games across the world. Throughout this course students will be introduced to the rules and regulations of a variety of sports and be exposed to the broader impact sports have had on different cultures. Particular focus will be given to sports in the United States and how they have intersected with discussions of race, gender, politics, and economics.
