DANC 230 Music for Dancers

The course is designed for dance majors to gain basic music theory to further develop their musicality in dance creation and performance. The course will cover dynamics and pitch with a majority focus on rhythm, utilizing Dalcroze Eurhythmics. The format of the class will be a combination of theory study and movement lab. Students are expected to learn the above three elements of music, and to show them through body movements.  

MUS 233 Music for Dance will be eliminated from the Music Department which will now be delivered by the Dance Department.
