Business Foundations Graduate Certificate

Admission Requirements

Students must have earned an undergraduate degree from a regionally-accredited university to be eligible to earn a graduate certificate in the DCOBT. Current undergraduate students at JU are eligible to earn the Cybersecurity Graduate Certificate through the Grad 2 Grad program or by special permission. All students completing the required courses will earn the certificate, even if courses are taken explicitly as prerequisite courses to enter the MBA.

Program Completion The program is designed to be completed in less than 12 months. If a student cannot complete the program they must successfully complete all course work no later than five years after the completion of the first graduate-level course taken after entrance into the program.

All academic standards present in the DCOBT apply to graduate certificate programs, this includes academic standards and grade appeals.

The Business Foundations Graduate certificate will give students a broad exposure to the core functional areas of business. Students completing the certificate will be prepared to continue on to a Master’s degree in business, potentially shift to a different industry, or be promoted in their current role. The certificate is 4 courses (12 credits) that can be taken in any order and consisting of the following courses:
