RCP 604 Healthcare Management & Organizational Change
This course is designed to focus on leadership in an organizational setting & the various responsibilities of managing a healthcare department. Students will develop an in-depth knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system, healthcare quality control & improvement initiatives, & management perspectives related to organizational goal setting, staffing & reimbursement structures, financial planning, & departmental performance. Students will be presented with a common organization dilemma & challenged to recommend a plan of action to minimize disruption.
