MHC 612 Filial and Family Play Therapy
This course provides an overview of Filial Therapy including the role of therapist modeling for parents and caregivers and how to train and supervise parents as they conduct special nondirective play sessions with their own children. The course will incorporate methods for engaging family issues in a mutual problem-solving process and describing the basic outcome research findings pertaining to Filial and Family Play Therapy.
