DSIM 603 Applied Statistical Modeling and Analys
This course develops fundamental knowledge and skills for applying statistical models to business decision making. Students will learn to apply statistical techniques to the processing and interpretation of data from various industries and disciplines. Topics covered include descriptive statistics, probability distributions, sampling, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, linear and multiple regressions, and the use of computer software for statistical applications. The knowledge gained from this course will be used throughout the entire applied business analytics curriculum.
