MUS 358 Popular Music Analysis II

Two hours per week. Prerequisite: MUS 357.
Students will analyze representative works of popular music by incorporating methods developed for analyzing contemporary art music for these genres: the blues, Latin, gospel, hip-hop and rap, dance and electronica, and world and new age.
