Students must hold current certification in CPR/AED and First Aid.
The minor prepares students with a focused inclusive knowledge base and skills needed for success and safety in coaching.

Note: A minimum grade of “C” is required for all KIN courses. A course taken in fulfillment of the Kinesiology major cannot be used to satisfy the coaching minor additional upper division KIN course requirements. With the assistance of the Kinesiology advisor additional elective courses may be used to fulfill the mandatory 15 credits needed to complete the Coaching minor.
