NUR 221 Essentials of Professional Nursing Practice

Provides the opportunity to apply concepts presented in NUR 220. Uses the nursing process framework to provide essential therapeutic nursing interventions to individuals, with emphasis on the aging adult. Students practice nursing procedures in the laboratory setting prior to clinical application in the clinical setting. Prerequisite: NUR 212SI and NUR 226.
