MATH 270 Introduction to Data Science

Three hours per week. Prerequisite: A “C” or better in MATH 140 and MATH 170. The course will introduce students to a high-level programming language and focus on the exploration, visualization, and manipulation of real-world data. Topics will include functions and basic coding and an introduction to modeling and inference.
