KIN 483 Tissue Biomechanics
The application of mechanical principles to biological systems to better understand the physical properties of bones, ligaments, tendons, muscles, cartilage and vascular tissues. The physical properties of stress and strain, sheer, torsion and bending on various biological tissues are examined.
Prerequisite
BIOL 215 and BIOL 216; and KIN 260 or KIN 405 and KIN 405L.
