HIST 327 The French Revolution & Napoleon

An in-depth exploration of a pivotal and controversial period in the history of the modern world. The course covers France and its Caribbean empire in the period 1715-1815. Special emphasis is given to the Enlightenment and the Haitian Revolution, as well as revolutionary events in Frances and Europe.
