EDU 231 Meeting Needs of Diverse Learners

This course will introduce and explore the classroom needs and characteristics of students with disabilities and diverse backgrounds. Content will cover laws, history, identification procedures and strategies to support learning in inclusive settings. In addition, the nature of culture, cultural groups and individual cultural identities will be studied (ESOL Standards-Domain 1)..
