CSD 404 Speech and Hearing Science
Course will provide an introduction to the physics of sound as it pertains to the communication processes of hearing and speech production. Review of the anatomy of articulation, voice, and hearing mechanisms will be provided. Elementary instrumentation and the physiology of hearing, speech and voice production will be explored through the process of recording and analyzing speech sounds. Pre-requisite:
CSD 204.
