AVS 315 Aviation Science for Glider Pilots -Elective

A study of the principles and techniques of unpowered flight. Includes flight principles, glider construction, assembly and disassembly, ground operations, towing, soaring, cross-country considerations, emergency procedures, and landings. A review of soaring weather principles will also be conducted.
