MATH 170 Data Science Foundations

Three hours per week. Prerequisite or Co-requisite: MATH 140. Students will be introduced to some statistics including descriptive statistics, probabilistic reasoning, and regression analysis. Emphasis will be placed on computation and visualization. Students will be introduced to modern computational programs commonly used in industry.
