CSD 408 Clinical Apps in Comm
This course will focus on the application of treatment methodologies and procedures related to individuals with communication disorders. Students will participate in mock therapy sessions in class and evaluate their use of teaching procedures. Course topics will include family-based intervention, curriculum-based treatment, group therapy, and working with diverse populations. Additional topics may include collaborating across disciplines and advocacy. This course is recommended for students seeking a job as a speech-language pathology assistant ort hose seeking admission to a graduate program in speech-language pathology. Pre-requisite: CSD 308
