NUR 640 Clin Manifestations Emerging Therapies
Physiologic adaptation to complex disease processes and emerging therapies will be examined. Students will utilize their existing knowledge of anatomy, physiology, chemistry, microbiology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology to explore new discoveries in genetics and genomics. The evolution of clinical genetic theory and the human genome project will be discussed and students will explain principles of genetic counseling pertaining to risk factors for chronic diseases.
