MGT 500 Essentials of Leadership & Ethics
The course offers an in-depth examination of factors that contribute to successful leadership and ethical practices in a wide variety of organizational settings. Topics include what leadership is, the challenges leaders face, the impact leadership has, and how leaders build ethical organizations and key relationships. Emphasis is placed on leadership knowledge, approach, application and the role of ethics in business administration in a complex, dynamic, global environment. This course will foster abroad consideration of stakeholder outcomes and the holistic impact of leader decision-making. The influence of leader characteristics and values on organizational culture and practices will be explored.
