Dance Minor

Minor Requirements

A minor in dance consists of the following 18 credit hours:

DANC xxx	Ballet Technique	4
DANC xxx	Modern Dance Technique	2
DANC xxx	Jazz Dance Technique	2
DANC xxx	Additional four 4 credit hours of continued study in any of the above techniques	4
Total Credit Hours:		12

Additional six (6) credit hours must be selected from the following courses:

DANC 139	Choreography I	2
DANC 239	Choreography II	2
DANC 317	Dance History & Criticism I	3
	Or
DANC 318WI	Dance History & Criticism II	3
DANC 320	Dance Theatre	1
DANC 335	Dance Teaching Methods	3
Total Credit Hours:		6

Total Credit Hours: 18
