NUR 574 Neuroanatomy for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
This course focuses on the structure and function of the brain and spinal cord. Concepts from neuroanatomy, genetics, neurophysiology, and neuropsychiatry are examined to provide foundational knowledge to advanced practice nurses. This course addresses neuroanatomy applications to clinical practice including psychopathology and prescribing medications.
