MUTH 375 MT Methods III
The purpose of this course is to: a) provide an overview of music psychology that includes a musicality of the human experience, influences of music on behavior, musical responses {bio-psychosocial), neuroscience of music perception and cognition, and behavior modification. This course will also provide an overview of populations within rehabilitation and medical settings and music therapy practices to address the needs of these individuals in these treatment settings based on established music therapy research and evolving evidence-based practice. Must receive a grade of C or better.
