HUM 410 The Humanities in Medicine

This course explores a chronological progression of healthcare. It integrates a variety of disciplines such as literature, philosophy, religion, art, geography, and cultural anthropology. No prior knowledge of healthcare or medicine is necessary. The development of healthcare practices from the ancient to modern worlds are explored along with the role of science and technology for treatment and prevention.
