HUM 301-310 Area Studies in Humanities
Studies focused on a specific country or geographic region, such as “American Humanities," “Ancient Arabic Culture,” or “Non-Western Humanities.” Course materials will include examples of thought and creative expression drawn from several humanistic disciplines such as literature, film, the visual arts, religion, philosophy, history, and music and/or other performing arts, with an emphasis on examining interconnections among the different areas of humanistic study selected.
Prerequisite
ENGL 103 and either ENGL Core Literature course or at least junior standing.
