FREN 330 French Society and Politics
A study of the people and regions of France. The course will examine the historical background, contemporary domestic and foreign affairs, and cultural characteristics of France. This area study includes geographical settings; social, political, and economic development and institutions; religious beliefs, artistic forms, and literary expressions. May be taught in English when cross-listed with IS307: Europe. Prerequisite:
FREN 301 or
FREN 302 or equivalent.
