EDU 479 Reading Diagnosis, Correction, &Prescription for the Classroom Teacher

Designed to aid classroom teachers inidentifying and evaluating reading skills, indiagnosing reading problems, and in using and prescribing various techniques, materials, andmethods for corrective and developmentalreading. Research based instructional strategies are emphasized. Emphasis is on informal diagnostic procedures and corrective techniques. Students must work with children in theReading Center/Laboratory program as partof this course.
