DSIM 415 Management Predictive Analytics
This course introduces students to the theory and applications of data mining and predictive modeling. It can prescribe better decisions instead of just showing insights derived from data. We focus on how these types of analyses help businesses create value and sustain high performance throughout their operations, for both products, and services. A variety of quantitative techniques, which are widely used by managers to enhance decision- making will be covered. Topics to be covered include data envelopment analysis, classification tree, regression and logistic regression, supervised learning and unsupervised learning models.
