This course introduces elementary anatomy, physiology, and neurology of the mechanisms underlying speech, language, swallowing, and hearing. This course provides students with the foundational knowledge of structures and systems that are disrupted in communication disorders across the lifespan. Pre-requisites: BIOL 215
